Three C30-7s and a six axle EMD power a loaded coal train through Pineville. For the leased power, its a long way from the Kentucky coal mines to the California sun.

Back in the days when big GE six-axle power was a bit less common than the present, L&N 1575 leads empties back toward the mines.
